When giving workshops last weekend, I was confronted with something at least remarkable. I had a random chat with a girl that apparently knew me from DeviantArt. We a friendly conversation about art such. It wasn't that strange, until she concluded her message with. "It's nice talking to you. I always wanted to know what you were like. You know... since you draw so well" And I was like... "Huh? What?" Some people see me as a talented writer or artist, others (including myself) raise the bar even higher. But regardless of what you see as skilled or not, I don't think there's such a thing as 'them' and 'us' in the art world. It's too small

Dear, deviantart fellow artists As artists we seek for constant improvement. We learn, we strive for perfection, we fail and we keep doing things we love to do - here are my thoughts about the topic and I hope that they might be helpful. 1. Take notes If you read something useful and inspirational - write it down. In journal, sketchbook - anywhere. Sketch something, put some lovely quotes - the information you'll see on tutorials, books and articles. You can't remember everything, so if you take notes and write the most meaningful things and then look through them - you'll learn more effectively. 2. Get out of the comfort zone

I am currently studying art in high school and joined deviantArt in hopes to expand my skills. Currently, I draw mainly traditional art but I am now expanding my skills by perusing a personal dream - drawing digital art.

I'm aiming to become a video game programmer because I have loved video games for as long as I can remember and have always dreamed to be a part of the process. I am currently in the middle of creating my first simple video game and so far, I love it.

No problem, Shiek is awesome! I plan to make my first cosplay as a female link (since he is one of my favourite characters).

Thanks for the support! Just for a warning, I'm preparing for my exchange to Belgium, so that is why I haven't been posting as often recently. But I plan to take my first computer art course so after that point, I'll be posting A LOT more regularly.
